tesselations with blue (premo)

Yesterday, I used a teeny bit of premo blue with the kato...and actually used a little premo white to stretch the kato white. Probably about 1 part premo to 2 parts kato. I could tell the difference...it was a little stickier. These haven't been cured yet...or even completely finished for that matter.

I like those designs, but yeah....it is really easy to tell whe Premo is mixed in with one of the firmer clays. Howeever, if it's all ya go to stretch with....it works. I would never give up my premo for some things. I think though, for the DragonEggs I will need to stick with the firm clays...so the design doesn't smear too much.

Barb I love these colors you are using lately! Not really "muted", that's not the right word... but rather soothing. I am anxious to see what THESE become. :)

Thanks Fae...I like em too. I guess that's what happens when you work with limited colors. I still have to sand them before I add any borders and bails, and then I'll show some...

I gotsta do tax stuff in the next few days, but I hope to sneak in some clay time tonight :o)
