Here it is. I was really surprised that this piece (
same necklace shown earlier, different dangle) was accepted to the
Bead Dreams competition and another
one that I liked so much better wasn't. I think we find out today who the prize winners are. I'm nervous this year for some reason.
Thanks so much to
Heather for showing some of my beads on
Craft Gossip Polymer Clay :o)

Good luck, Barb! I love the flowers in the one they chose! I love the other one, but, the colors and the glow of the metallics and the outlines on the smaller petals all make this a knockout. I think people will look at it and wonder how you did it!!! I do!
Hi Barb,
I think this piece is lovely. The other is gorgeous too - I am a fan of blue and green - but this one has the hint of a treasure. Isn't it funny how what we see in our work and what others see is so very different?
Good luck today!
Sue
Hi Barb,
I just saw your necklace at the B&B show. Wow. The picture on your site doesn't do it justice. Your necklace is just stunning.
The show organizers will need to put towels down to catch all the drool. Congratulations on a stunning piece.

Thank you Susan, Sue and Beth! I appreciate the kind comments so much you guys...
...oh, and Beth, did you notice whose work the ribbons sat next to? Any pictures per chance? ;o)
I'm rooting for you, Barb! Both of these pieces are wonderful and whatever happens, you should be proud of the great work you've done.
I agree with everyone's comments... especially the one about needing towels for the drool!!
This piece has a smoky sultry look that could be worn with just about anything. Can you imagine the admiring looks and compliments you would receive wearing a necklace like this to a special event?! I love it!
I hope you win Barb... you deserve it!
