These remind me of the art nouveau style almost exactly in some pairs. I'm definitely getting the hang of these the more I make...however the little swirl at the bottom is going to take extra time to perfect! Somehow, it's fitting that swirls are making their way back into my work again :o) I've always loved creating when you don't quite know what the finished product will look like. These totally fit the bill.
Finished with all of my earrings tonight. Now, on to pricing...

I love that you ride the ever changing wave of creativity and continually evolve, letting one idea/feature find it's way into the next very different creation.... and on and on it goes. Seeing the swirls find their way again into your work is very cool....seems our inherent tendencies always pop back up (mine is twisting/bending the clay ;). Too often, we think we've 'found' our thing and so continue to make it over and over...when, in fact, I don't think a true artist (like yourself) ever finds just one thing. True art an absolute journey of evolution, and it's the artist's job to be in tune with that and ride the flow, no matter where it leads (whether to finished art that others find appealing...or not!!)
The earrings are looking great, and I can only imagine what fun you're having playing with this new style...it's very pretty and looks like your having a blast. Good on you...
Well, thank you so much Jana!
You know, I feel the same way about your work. It's so obvious that you enjoy creating. Just imagine the things that would come out of you if you spent more time in the studio! ;o)
I think the challenge is being inspired in new ways and not being "type-cast." I think our signature pieces will always be associated with us, but the journey *has* to continue.
We just keep traveling the road, ...and happily, we never know where it will lead. :o)
Thank you again Jana, your post just made my night!

Yay! See you then girl, maybe I'll make a pair just for you :o)
