oooh, this looks like a great book :o)

on Amazon. I think I'll put it on my wish list :o)

One of the reviews that I read:

Not even 25 pages in and I had to stop reading and make notes on ideas I had for art pieces. This book has some kind of voo doo spell that gets your art mojo flowing like crazy. What I love about this book is that there are no "instructions to make your own identical artwork" but plenty of art talk that sets your mind on fire with ideas for your own art. I'm having the best time with it. I should also add that the paper, colors, even fonts are gorgeous and the highest quality. A real pleasure to pick up.

Barb, I bought this book a few months ago and it's great. Lots of beautful work and some great exercises to help you explore creative possibilities. Very inspiring if you like that sort of thing, and I do! Two other books that I highly recommend, "Kaleidoscope" by Suzanne Simanaitis. This is similar to "Living the Creative Life". And a FABULOUS book on design (my favorite ever!) is "Design Language Interpretive Edition" by Tim McCreight. Not that you need help with design LOL! It's just so wonderful and explains so much! Hope your Thanksgiving was a good one!

I bought this book yesterday-Borders had one copy hidden away in a dark corner and I snatched it right up.

Thanks for posting about it. I doubt I would have seen it otherwise.

and Thanks to Miss Kim for the other two books I am going to have to put on my holiday wish list!
