News Flash!

I'm going to be doing that show in Tucson next Feb. (To Bead True Blue) ...remember the pics that had lovely women shopping for beads photoshopped in? *g*

Anyway, I hear it's a great show...I figure if it's good enough for Christi, Sarah, Klew and Jana, it's good enough for me ;o)

Here is the first of many pieces of jewelry that I'll be making. Now, remember, I'm a bead maker not a jewelry designer!

Here is a picture of my dad from Christmas 2005. He looks like Santa doesn't he?

And while I'm at it, a pic of Rudy, boyz, and boyz uncles

(Rudy's bro Fred on the left, Robert on the right)

also from last Christmas.

the same, but different

Try as I may, I can't stop using shiny, sparkley...I tried only doing the "unearthed" series in "earth" tones, but before you know it, I had gold paint in my hands...

Heading out to see my dad today...Happy Father's Day to all of your's.

Organic Heart

My new backyard is crawling with red ants...they're coming and carrying off little bits of bird seed. They're coming from the other side of the yard where Riley lives, so I can't really put poisen out. I guess I'll have to remove the bird feeders? I had to hurry and take these pics before they decided to start biting... :o(

Anyway, I'm not a big fan of hearts, but I'm happy with how this first one came out. I spoke to Christi Friesen about this style before she left for B&B...she was very gracious and happy to have inspired me :o)

PCC Challenge

Here are the beads which won 3rd place in the PCC Challenge for May. It was just something new I tried...some foiled strip laid onto bead shapes. I like the way the bicone ones came out, I may make more of those.
