Gosh, I'm just having more fun than one person should be allowed. Too bad I didn't sleep well last night or I probably would have cranked out another strand of these today. Bad background choice, I know. Oh, and meet my buddy Mac. She lost her husband of 23 years on June 4th. He was ill with brain cancer for one year. He was an incredible guy and we loved him. She's doing great, btw. I just realized I forgot to resize these. If you click on them, they'll be huge, so be prepared!

I fell upon your sight through the B&B forum. I am not a polymer clay artist and have only been introduced to the art about three years ago, when, for the first time, I was a 'Finalist' in Bead Dreams. I could not get over the gorgeous beads created with clay. Your beads, however, are just breath taking!I enjoyed visiting your site and seeing your work! I am a seed bead artist, of the looming kind! Visit my website, so I can introduce myself better, www.beadsbeadingbeaded.com My latest attractions for my work is to include other techniques with my seed beads. Polymer clay will be on my mind now for awhile, because of your gorgeous work! Thanks so much for sharing!

I love your work with polymer clay. It's beautiful!
hey Kathi...again sorry for the slow reply...you know I'll get to it eventually huh? ;o)
No sanding madam...that's what I love about them. I tried making more of my usual today and I only wanted to get back to the sculpted beads. It's just fun making the leaves and curling all the little clay pieces. And it's almost immediate gratification when I take them out of the oven and know that will be NO sanding...just makes me smile, ya know? *g*
Hi Erin,
Thanks so much for stopping in and for the kind words! I checked out your site briefly and will get back there when I have a bit more time...you have some gorgeous stuff there! I love those cuff bracelets :o)
I'd love to see how you would incorporate pc in your work!
Hey Miss Connie :o) ...thank ya ma'am...
Thank you very much Angelique...good to see you here :o)

Let me try this
again!
Thank you Linda! we're keeping our eye on it, and I at this point I think we're still going...wish us luck ;o)
It looks to me like it will pass below the tip of Florida (but it is early to predict). Besides, I just got hurricane shutters and a hurricane-proof garage door, so the entire east coast of Florida is probably safe now. LOL! And, if you must experience a hurricane, it is better to do it in someone else's property.
However, if you should get hit, the loss of electricity is something to consider. Most everything is electric here, so... no toilet, no water, no air conditioning, no oven. No coffee! (Depending on where you are staying, of course.)
I am two hours north of Ft. Lauderdale and I have a generator. I could email you my cellphone #, though they don't work after the hurricane. Contact me if you think you might need the number. (I am a bit nervous about posting it.)

Linda...don't laugh, but what's the situation on alligators and big bugs? *g*
That's enough out of you young lady...you're the one that got me worried about em in the first place!
I dont think you will be bothered by either in Ft. Lauderdale. There are big bugs, but they are more afraid of you than you should be of them. Also.. lizards. They're cute, but dont try to catch them - they bite - but only when grabbed. I've never seen the big flying cockroaches in any hotel in Ft, Lauderdale, and I've stayed in some strange places there.
If the place you are staying has a man-made lake... you might see a little aligator. But it will stay away from you if it has not been fed by humans.
And it looks like there will be no hurricane... so my shutters are working!
Seriously, in my 16 years in So. Florida, I have never had a run in with bugs or aligators, and I am in a rural area. I think you are safe in Ft. Lauderdale. LOL!
Linda
Actually, we're staying here. Yay! I can make a link too :o)
ummm, not so much a girly girl...i mean i'm definately not high maintenance. But I don't like flying bugs that might land on me, or something that might lunge out from the water to bite me. ;o)
